This option can be turned on or off. (off by default)
This option was designed with the intention of making the plugin more responsive, even if its render time can be long. One good example is when you’re trying to scrub through the timeline, the effect will try to render each scrubbed frames and it can become laggy.
When this option is turned off, it prevents the effect from rendering if the resolution is lowered by more than 1/4.
So you still can use the defaults “Resolution/Down Sample Factor” (Full/Half/Third/Quarter), but when scrubbing through the timeline, After Effect will most likely drops the adaptive resolution to 1/5 or 1/8, which at that point Transfusion will stop trying to render the frame, waiting for you to stop the playhead.
